Make it seem like the class is going on a special trip. As the kids enter, give them passports, a boarding pass for their seat, etc. Once everybody is “on board” the trip can take off and land in the country you’re going to be discussing today.

• Decorate the room with things reminiscent of your feature country.
• Learn some unique culture tidbits to discuss or incorporate.
• Serve food from your feature country.

So… share your ideas to add to this “mission trip” … have you done this in your church before?
